Spain

A budget app for Spain — cash and card in one place

Spanish users are offered budgeting apps that neither speak Spanish nor connect to Spanish banks. Cash Compass does the first properly and skips the second entirely.

Why this fits

Why budgeters in Spain pick Cash Compass

1

No US app reads a Spanish account

Copilot Money, Monarch and Rocket Money serve US banks, and YNAB's automatic import doesn't cover Spain. Budgeting in Spain therefore means manual capture no matter which app you pay for. Cash Compass makes that the fast path instead of the fallback, so a Santander account, a BBVA card and cash spending are all logged the same way in seconds.

2

Euro amounts, Spanish interface

Set EUR at setup and every dashboard total, chart and CSV export uses it. Spanish is one of 33 translated languages and is independent of the currency setting, so you get a Spanish interface with euro figures. Categories are yours to name, which matters when the default lists in US apps rarely match how a household here actually spends.

3

Cash and small daily spending count

Cash use in Spain remains higher than in northern Europe, particularly for bars, markets and small local businesses — spending that no statement feed can see. An app that imports transactions structurally misses it. Because Cash Compass records what you tell it, a €1.60 café and a card supermarket shop land in the same charts, and the monthly total is real.

How it works

Three taps from blank screen to budget

  1. 1. Capture

Voice, photo of a receipt, or 3-tap manual entry — every method takes under 5 seconds.

  2. 2. Categorize

Cash Compass picks the category automatically. Override once and it learns your pattern.

  3. 3. Review

Weekly chart shows where money went. Adjust caps before the month is over, not after.

FAQ

Common questions

Does it work with Spanish banks?

There's no bank connection at all, so Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank and smaller institutions are equally supported. You record spending by voice, receipt photo or manual entry, which also captures cash a feed would never see.

Is it in Spanish?

Yes, Spanish is among the 33 translated languages, and language and currency are set separately, so a Spanish interface with euro amounts is standard.

Can I use euro?

Yes. EUR is chosen at setup or later in Settings, and every total, chart and export follows it. All ISO currencies are supported if you spend outside the eurozone.

Is there a free version?
