Brazil

A budget app built for Pix and parcelamento in Brazil

Pix moves money instantly and parcelamento spreads one purchase across twelve months — two things that make budgeting in Brazil genuinely hard, and that no US budgeting app models at all.

Why this fits

Why budgeters in Brazil pick Cash Compass

1

Installments are the real budgeting problem

Paying "12x sem juros" is normal in Brazil, which means a single purchase quietly commits a slice of your income for a year. Statement-import apps show only this month's instalment, so the true remaining obligation is invisible. With Cash Compass you decide what to record — log the monthly instalment as a recurring category, or the full commitment when you make it — because you control the entry rather than inheriting a feed's interpretation.

2

Pix-speed spending needs capture-speed tracking

Pix made transfers instant and constant in Brazil: splitting a bill, paying a street vendor, settling with a friend. That volume of small movements is precisely what gets forgotten by the end of the week. Logging by voice as it happens takes a couple of seconds and keeps the category accurate, which a bank feed's cryptic description never manages.

3

Real, and Portuguese throughout

Choose BRL at setup and every total, chart axis and CSV export uses reais. Portuguese is one of the 33 translated languages and is set independently of currency, so a Portuguese interface with real amounts is standard. No US budgeting app — Copilot Money, Monarch, Rocket Money — connects to Nubank, Itaú or Bradesco anyway, so manual capture is the realistic path in Brazil regardless.

How it works

Three taps from blank screen to budget

  1. 1. Capture

Voice, photo of a receipt, or 3-tap manual entry — every method takes under 5 seconds.

  2. 2. Categorize

Cash Compass picks the category automatically. Override once and it learns your pattern.

  3. 3. Review

Weekly chart shows where money went. Adjust caps before the month is over, not after.

FAQ

Common questions

Does it connect to Nubank, Itaú or Pix?

No — Cash Compass has no connections to any bank or payment system. That means Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco and Pix payments are all handled identically: you log the amount and category yourself, by voice, receipt photo or manual entry.

How do I handle purchases paid in instalments?

Because you control what gets recorded, you can log each monthly instalment as it's charged, or record the full amount at purchase to see the real commitment. An import-based app can only ever show you the current month's charge.

Can I track in reais?

Yes. BRL is selectable at setup and in Settings later, and all totals, charts and exports follow it. Every ISO currency is supported if you're paid by clients abroad.

Is the app in Portuguese?

Yes, Portuguese is among the 33 translated languages, and language is chosen separately from currency, so a Portuguese interface with BRL amounts is a normal setup.
